Contestant: David Eck

David was 17 years old when he appeared on show #109 with his brother Greg.  He was captain of his football and basketball team at John Jersey High in Arlington, IL. Greg was 20 years old and in college at Northern Illinois University majoring in computer science and a member of Phi Kappa Tau.

Games Played:  Star Wars, Super AstroFighter, Pac Man Plus and Tunnel Hunt. The game not selected for play was Calipso.

Reason David wanted to be on STARCADE!: "I want to play on a game show.  I also would like to win an arcade game"

Prizes won: A Bionic Chair & Spectravideo (a computer)!

Greg & David won the competition and played Tunnel Hunt for the Grand Prize (Joust video arcade game). The score to beat was 3308 - they scored 2730 ... close but ... no one won the Grand Prize.

Today Greg is the father of a son he says "is into video games even more than I was!!"   

Opponents: Mike Sadek, Jr. & Mike Sadek, Sr. have checked in and even challenged the Eck Brothers to a rematch. We'll see if we can arrange that guys.
