Jordan's Page

Contestant: Jordan Silber

Jordan appeared on two STARCADE! shows - show #60 and a STARCADE! Invitational show #63.

Show #60 was taped when Jordan was 14 years old and in the 9th grade.

Games on show #60: Donkey Kong Jr, Congo Bongo, Much Mobile, BurgerTime and Mappy.

Grand Prize: Tron

We invited Jordan back for one of the STARCADE! Invitational shows. He was matched up against Mike Schoenwetter, and it was close, but Mike won out and Jordan did not make it past the first round of competition.

Reason he wanted to be on STARCADE!: "... because I like to play games and I have lots of friends who watch STARCADE! who would watch the show or come and be an audience member."

"I feel the fact that I do not get nervous on TV (I've been on TV before) and that I have a good sense of humor make me interesting and suitable for your show." (Sounded like a lawyer even then)

Prizes won:
 - Show #60 - White's Metal Detector and a Texas Instruments Computer

 - Show #63 - Beamscope II

What's Jordan doing today? "Since STARCADE!: UC Berkeley '91 Political Science/Geography major; University of Texas Austin '94 MBA; University of California Hastings College of the Law, San Francisco, class of 2001. I clerk at a law firm in the Bay Area. After my MBA program in Texas, I owned and operated several concert venues for 5 years.

I got a chance to purchase and put into commercial operation many video games including 'the classics.' One of the highlight of this was that I eventually bought a Tron machine, which was the game I would have won on STARCADE! had I not "flubbed" the bonus round on my first show.!"
