Contestant: Will Klopp

Will was 15 and a Sophomore in High School when he appeared on STARCADE! It was a rewarding experience for Will ... with him winning almost every prize we had to offer ... including a Q*Bert Video Arcade game, a Texas Instruments Computer, an electronic chess game from Scisys and a trip to Hawaii.

Will appeared on 2 STARCADE! shows. He won big on Show #74 so we invited him back for one of our championship shows - Show #78. He won the Grand Prize on that one as well.

Show #78 Invitational: Time Pilot, Star Wars, Popeye, Donkey Kong Jr and Dorodon. Grand Prize: Trip to Hawaii and a roll of Quarters to play video games in Hawaii.

In his short bio, Will told us, "I am really not interested in school but I go because it will help me later in life ... my favorite subjects (in school) are World History and Algebra." Will had a great sense of humor.

Will also told us he "enjoyed reading about World War II because that way I have some insight on what's happened in the past ... I have an interest in airplanes and go to all the air shows that I can."

"My favorite Rock Groups are Rush, Journey, Loverboy and Judas Priest. I also like Michael Jackson."

When he checked in, Will did not tell us what happened to all those prizes he won ... or if he still has any of them. Will, if you're reading this ... the many fans of STARCADE! would like to know whether you still have the Q*Bert game or the TI computer.

Will checked in to tell us, "I graduated from ... High School and joined the Marine Corps. I spent 4 years on active duty based in Camp Lejeune, NC and loved every minute of it."

"When I got out of the Marines, I went to work for Apple Computer doing marketing and product management activities. Since I left Apple in 1992 I have founded my own company doing CD-ROM development, been the VP of wireless and mobile computing for Silicon Valley-based engineering firm and am currently VP of Marketing for a company in the digital video surveillance and security arena. I enjoy sports, my family and our pets - 1 dog (Sampson) and 3 horses (Cash, Tuffy, and Brandy)."
